PREPARATION
The Macallan Double Cask Gold whiskey combines two styles of oak barrels seasoned with American and European Oloroso sherry. It reflects a perfect harmony between natural flavors and colors that begins with the style of American oak before giving way to the classic Macallan flavors.
TASTING
View:
Light amber color.
Nose:
Creamy caramel aroma with a touch of caramelized apple, candied orange, vanilla custard and freshly felled oak.
Mouth:
On the palate it is deliciously honeyed, with flavors of wood spices and citrus, balanced with raisins and caramel. Warm, sweet and dry finish.
