PREPARATION
To create The Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve whiskey with a tropical touch, it matures in barrels, which are previously filled with Caribbean rum. The result is a well-balanced and exceptionally smooth whiskey. The Glenlivet distillery was founded in 1824 near the River Livet, from which it gets its name. This whiskey from the Speyside region is one of the most popular in Scotland. The Glenlivet brand is the largest-selling single malt whiskey brand in the United States and the second largest single malt beer brand worldwide. Today, the distillery is owned by the French company Pernod Ricard who oversees production.
TASTING
View:
Dark amber color.
Nose:
Sweet notes of pear and red apple meet a fabulous tropical touch of ripe bananas in syrup.
Mouth:
On the palate it contains rich toffee caramel notes, followed by tropical fruit flavors. Bold, smooth and tropical flavor. Well balanced and exceptionally smooth finish.
