PREPARATION
The Black Grouse is born from the combination of smoked malt whiskeys, including the special version of Glenturret, with grain whiskeys, a process that gives it a pleasant, smoky and exceptional flavor on the palate.
The secret to The Famous Grouse lies in allowing the elements enough time to create a balanced fusion eliminating the need for severe filtration so that the smooth, round flavor is preserved. As the blend marries and matures, our handcrafted oak casks gently infuse subtle nuances of flavor, bringing the whiskey's character to life. Each barrel is "profiled" by the Master Blender to ensure consistent quality of the famous flavor that characterizes The Famous Grouse.

Mahogany color with reddish highlights.
Nose:
Light soft, complex and rich aromas of spices, nuts and oak smoke.
Mouth:
Tasty, fresh and light, fruity and spicy with notes of dried fruits. The finish is long with aromas of peat and a soft smoky flavor with a note of oak and citrus.
