PREPARATION
Teeling Stout Cask is the combination of two Irish alcohols: whiskey and Irish Stout beer. In collaboration with one of Ireland's most celebrated craft breweries, Galway Bay Brewery, Teeling once again showcases its creativity. The result is a true celebration of innovation, a limited edition rich in flavors and character that takes up the bitterness of the "200 Fathoms Imperial Stout" black beer. The whiskey is aged for over 6 months in barrels that have held "200 Fathoms Imperial Stout" beer. Bottling at 46° is done without cold filtration to preserve all the flavors of the whiskey. Located in the heart of historic Liberties, a city steeped in whiskey history, Teeling Whiskey Distillery opened its doors in 2015 as the first new distillery in Dublin in over 125 years. Since opening, Teeling Distillery has won over 20 awards including 'Best Visit in Ireland' at the 2019 CIE Awards and 'Sustainable Distillery of the Year' at the 2022 Whiskey Icons Awards.
