Tanqueray Nº Ten is a fresh, citrus-forward gin that leaves no one indifferent. It was the first to set the standards for Ultra Premium gin. Every bottle carries a seal with the name of Charles Tanqueray, a symbol of quality and of more than 180 years of experience in the art of distillation. The bottle design is reminiscent of a citrus juicer, symbolizing the fresh limes from Mexico, oranges from Florida, and pink grapefruits distilled in every small batch. Globally acclaimed for its subtle yet complex, smooth and refreshing flavor, it is full of citrus and juniper aromas, with notes of citrus fruits, chamomile flowers, and juniper. Description

 PRODUCTION

The first edition of Tanqueray Nº Ten was launched in 2000. It is crafted in small batches using the finest natural extracts and fresh citrus fruits, from three distillations of grain and osmosis-filtered water. It then undergoes a fourth distillation in which several botanicals are added, notably chamomile flower, juniper berries, angelica, licorice, and coriander seeds. Whole citrus fruits are also used instead of dried peels, such as Florida oranges, fresh Mexican limes, and pink grapefruits, to create a truly unforgettable experience.

It takes its name from the still that gives it life: "Tiny TEN," a traditional swan-neck still that is still used exclusively to make this spirit.

 TASTING NOTES

Appearance: It has a clear, crystalline appearance.

 

Nose: A complex combination of herbal and citrus aromas in which juniper and grapefruit stand out over a light spicy background.

 

Palate: Simultaneous bursts of citrus and juniper, followed by silky notes of chamomile. It is very complex on the palate, mainly thanks to its high alcohol content, which fixes flavors and aromas. The finish is long and reveals very pleasant notes of lemon and lime.
