PREPARATION
The Red Wine Cask range combines Tamnavulin Single Malt matured in ex-Bourbon barrels with barrels that have contained different types of red wine. Here the second maturation takes place in ex-German pinot noir barrels, giving touches of small red fruits, figs and peaches in syrup
TASTING
View: Dark amber color with golden sparkles.
Nose:
Fruity and smooth with aromas of Turkish delight, caramelized peaches, Seville oranges and hints of red cherries and apple pie
Mouth:
It promises the palate vanilla, peach custard and ginger spices that slowly give way to reveal glacé, succulent figs and licorice.
