Stroh 40 comes from Austria and owes its name to its founder, businessman Sebastian Stroh, who created the company in Klagenfurt under the name "Stroh Rum". It is a spiced rum made in Austria with a very high alcohol content. It is sold under three different brands: Stroh 40, Stroh 60 and Stroh 80. The number represents the alcohol content by volume of each of them and is considered a symbol of the Austrian quality of life. In 1832, when Sebastian Stroh was preparing his first brandy in St. Paul in the Lavant Valley of Carinthia, he laid the foundations for a success story in Austria. For more than 185 years, Stroh spirits have convinced with their authentic and aromatic taste. Today, Stroh Inländer rum is a specialty spirit that has found its permanent place in kitchens and bars in more than 40 countries around the world.

Description
PREPARATION
Stroh 40 is made from sugar cane molasses and has various spices and aromas added that give it a very personal feel. Stroh Rum is very common to be used in the preparation of cocktails and prepared drinks. Its use is common in lighting some mulled wines such as Feuerzangenbowle (similar to a queimada). In baking it is usually used to reinforce the flavors of certain sweets.
TASTING
View: It has a copper color
Nose: Strong and alcoholic aroma, accompanied by notes of caramel.
Mouth: Inimitable flavor with notes of fine rum, rounded by the flavor of fully ripe fruits, notes of vanilla, oak wood, with subtle touches of orange and almonds.
