PREPARATION
Zacapa Ámbar 12 Years is made from a blend of rums between 4 and 12 years old and aged using the Solera system in the highlands of Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, at 2,300 meters above sea level in a special series of charred white oak barrels that have contained American Bourbon and Sherry.
TASTING
View: Amber color.
Nose: Notes of wood, orange peel, almonds and at the end marzipan and jam.
Mouth: Initial flavors of orange peel, almonds and cinnamon, with notes of butter and vanilla mixed with wood.
