Description
PREPARATION
Old Caldas 5 Years is made from virgin sugar cane honey and aged in first-use Colombian white oak barrels for a minimum of 5 years, at 2,200 meters above sea level, which gives it unique characteristics. The water used to produce it comes from the Andes Mountains, from pure springs that surround the company's land. Founded in 1928 in Colombia, Ron Viejo de Caldas is highly appreciated throughout South America. The difference with other rums is that Industria Licorera de Caldas rums are naturally aged in Colombian oak barrels.
TASTING
View: Mahogany-veined amber color.
Nose: Aroma of rum that reveals a notable presence of alcohol and an intense fruity bouquet.
Mouth: Long and silky flavor with rich nuances of cream, vanilla and cocoa.
