PREPARATION
Stroh 80 was born in 1832. The name comes from its founder, the businessman Sebastian Stroh, who created the company in Klagenfurt under the name "Stroh Rum". It is made from sugar cane molasses and has various spices and aromas added that give it a very personal feel. In 1832, when Sebastian Stroh was preparing his first brandy in St. Paul in the Lavant Valley of Carinthia, he laid the foundations for a success story in Austria. For more than 185 years, Stroh spirits have convinced with their authentic and aromatic taste. Today, Stroh Inländer rum is a specialty spirit that has found its permanent place in kitchens and bars in more than 40 countries around the world.
TASTING
View: Deep reddish brown color with slight shine.
Nose: Strong and alcoholic aroma, accompanied by fine notes of sugar cane and vanilla.
Mouth: Inimitable flavor with notes of fine rum, rounded by the flavor of fully ripe fruits, notes of vanilla, oak wood, with subtle touches of orange and almonds.
