Matusalem Clásico 10 Años is made with selected rums aged for an average of 10 years in Solera, resulting in a rum of superior quality, distinct flavor and pleasant to the palate. Matusalem is the legendary brand that best represents the most valued rums in the world, thanks to its Cuban heritage. Founded in 1872 in Santiago de Cuba, Matusalem is produced today in the Dominican Republic following the same secret formula that has been passed down from generation to generation. Its founders created the brand with a single purpose: to achieve a flavor so unforgettable that it escaped from fashion, to become something timeless that would last over time. Their rums mature using the Solera system, an ancient technique used for the dynamic aging of brandy and sherry wines. The medium roasting in selected barrels that were formerly Bourbon and the blending of the rum are strictly supervised by the Master Blender, a very important responsibility that has allowed us to maintain the unique essence of Matusalem rums since 1872.

TASTING

View: Intense honey color, with toasted nuances.

Nose: Complex, warm and creamy, with aromas of toffee and caramel, mixed with notes of vanilla, roasted coffee beans and coconut. With a seductive bouquet wrapped in the warm creamy aroma of molasses.

Mouth: On the palate it is silky, pleasant, elegant and balanced, with flavors of vanilla, nutmeg, caramel and touches of barrel wood. Its complex flavor produces almost no pungency, its silky structure distinguishes it as a super Premium rum.
