Description

PREPARATION

The Ron Malteco 25 Años Reserva Rara is made "Guatemala style" from freshly squeezed sugar cane juice and distilled in column stills. It is aged for a period of 25 years (from 1992 to 2017) in selected 220-liter American white oak barrels that previously contained American bourbon at 2,300 meters of altitude. This gives it incredible complexity after long aging. Guatemala's sugar cane plantations are known for their excellent quality, which is reflected in the format of the rum.

TASTING

View: Dark amber color with copper reflections.

 

Nose: Aromas of vanilla and caramel with notes of orange zest, chocolate and oak wood.

 

Mouth: Smooth and sweet flavor with notes of vanilla, tobacco, nuts and spices. Long-lasting and slightly sweet finish.
