PREPARATION
Don Papa rum is made with sweet sugar cane from the Philippines, column distilled and aged for 7 years in American oak barrels, which adds touches of coconut, cocoa, coffee, and sweeter flavors. It is then filtered with charcoal, thus eliminating any trace of tannins and impurities, and ending with a masterful blend. Don Papa Rum is a Premium Aged Rum from a single island in the Philippines, created on the slopes of the active volcano Mount Kanlaon, where the finest sugar cane is milled to produce rich, sweet molasses. After harvesting, fermentation and distillation, the Master Blender perfectly blends Don Papa Rum before coming together in an alchemy of magic in the bottle.
TASTING
View: Light amber color.
Nose: Light and fruity. Aromas of vanilla, honey and candied fruit.
Mouth: Soft and delicate. Medium length, long finish with hints of cinnamon.
