PREPARATION
The Botran Reserva Blanca Rum is a balanced blend of rums aged from 3 to 8 years, distilled from concentrated cane juice and not molasses like 97% of the rums on the market, an exclusivity that makes them truly unique spirits. The rums reach their maturity through the solera system in the mountains of Quetzaltenango before recovering their crystalline color through filtration with activated carbon. The altitude and cooler temperature restrict evaporation, so rums can take on their individual flavor profiles. Making "high rum" in this way is a unique art that has been carefully preserved and enriched over the years. In the aging process, American white oak barrels that contained whiskey, butts seasoned with sherry and barrels in which exclusive ports matured for a long time were used. The use of these three different types of containers results in a versatile, rich and perfectly balanced rum.
TASTING
View: Straw yellow color.
Nose: Soft and balanced aroma, with notes of vanilla, toasted wood and dried fruits.
Mouth: Its soft and fruity flavor, explosive in the mouth, with notes of citrus and vanilla, presents an unusual complexity for a white rum.
