PREPARATION

Barceló Dorado Añejado is aged naturally in American oak barrels that have held Bourbon for up to two years, resulting in a delicious blend of rums. Barceló rum had its origin in 1929, when Julián Barceló arrived in the Dominican Republic with the purpose of making a rum that will go down in history as the best in the world, and it was just a year later, in 1930, when he founded Barceló & Co. In 2016 Ron Barceló becomes the first rum in the world certified as Carbon Neutral, the first distillate and rum in the world to be part of the UN Climate Change initiative, Climate Neutral Now.

TASTING

View: Deep golden amber color.

Nose: Aromas of butter with caramelized nuts, wood and fruit cake.

Mouth: Toasted flavor with a light and gentle woody note and a touch of spice.
