Description
PREPARATION
Barceló Añejo is made from fresh sugar cane juice extracted from the Barceló cane fields in the Dominican Republic and aged for 4 years in ex-bourbon oak barrels.
Barceló rum had its origin in 1929, when Julián Barceló arrived in the Dominican Republic with the purpose of making a rum that will go down in history as the best in the world, and it was just a year later, in 1930, when he founded Barceló & Co. In 2016 Ron Barceló becomes the first rum in the world certified as Carbon Neutral, the first distillate and rum in the world to be part of the UN Climate Change initiative, Climate Neutral Now.
