Description
PREPARATION
Bacardí Reserva Limitada is made with a blend of the best Bacardi rums, rums that are distilled from molasses that rest in medium-toasted American white oak barrels for a period of about sixteen years. As a final result, a golden rum is obtained that has a light aroma where notes of oak are combined with sweet notes, its flavor is soft and delicate where the oak is also present along with other ingredients.
It was first released at the opening of the Bacardi Visitor Center in 2003 in Cataño, Puerto Rico and has previously been available in limited quantities in Puerto Rico, Aruba, the Bahamas and Cayman Island.
TASTING
View:
Intense golden color with nuances of dark reddish tones.
Nose:
Light aroma with toasted and sweet notes of apricot, plum, vanilla and toasted sugar cane.
Mouth:
Smooth, rich and velvety flavor with notes of dried fruits, oak and toasted brown sugar.
