Description
PREPARATION
Bacardí Reserva rum is distinguished from white rum by not having been filtered and by having matured for 5 years in American white oak barrels, this aging adds additional complexity to its flavor and mouthfeel. Rum is made with only three ingredients: sugar cane molasses, yeast and water. The ingredients are fermented, then distilled, aged, filtered and blended.
TASTING
View:
Light golden color.
Nose:
Aromas of vanilla and butterscotch.
Mouth:
Oak flavor that gives it body and presence, sweet textures of caramel, vanilla and dried fruits. It is a dry and balanced rum.
