PREPARATION
The Ron Abuelo The history of Varela Hermanos S.A. It dates back to 1908 when Don José Varela Blanco, a young Spanish emigrant, founded the San Isidro Sugar Mill in Pesé, the first sugar mill in the newly formed Republic of Panama. The town of Pesé, established in the mid-18th century, is located in a fertile valley in the center of Panama, where the main activity of its population of nearly 10,000 inhabitants is the cultivation of sugar cane.
TASTING
View: Deep, reddish mahogany color.
Nose: Aroma of red fruits, ripe wild fruits and cherries with touches of intense wood and delicate notes of dried fruits.
Mouth: Silky, round and dense texture. Its flavor is intense and opulent, with notes of ripe fig and a long, astringent woody finish.
