PREPARATION
Abuelo The history of Varela Hermanos S.A. It dates back to 1908 when Don José Varela Blanco, a young Spanish emigrant, founded the San Isidro Sugar Mill in Pesé, the first sugar mill in the newly formed Republic of Panama. The town of Pesé, established in the mid-18th century, is located in a fertile valley in the center of Panama, where the main activity of its population of nearly 10,000 inhabitants is the cultivation of sugar cane.
TASTING
View: Dark amber color.
Nose: Aroma of pungent Fino and citrus peel, impregnated with moist wood with a unique complexity.
Mouth: Round and structured, saline and mineral with citrus notes and a long finish of toasted almond.
