Description
PREPARATION
Ron Abuelo Añejo 7 Años is matured in carefully selected American white oak barrels. Under the tropical heat and the strict supervision of the master rum maker, it develops over the years a refined aroma and an exquisite flavor. The history of Varela Hermanos S.A. It dates back to 1908 when Don José Varela Blanco, a young Spanish emigrant, founded the San Isidro Sugar Mill in Pesé, the first sugar mill in the newly formed Republic of Panama. The town of Pesé, established in the mid-18th century, is located in a fertile valley in the center of Panama, where the main activity of its population of nearly 10,000 inhabitants is the cultivation of sugar cane.
TASTING
View: Reddish amber color.
Nose: Notes of dates, raisins and vanilla.
Mouth: Round and balanced texture with a medium voluptuousness. Slight minerality. Balanced palate, with notes of fig, cinnamon finish and raw nuts.
