Description
PRODUCTION
Puerto de Indias Classic gin is handcrafted with alcohol from cereals, a carefully selected range of botanicals, and the character provided by distillations in copper stills that are more than 130 years old. The botanicals used are: Juniper (Juniperus communis), orange peel (Citrus x sinensis) and lemon peel (Citrus x limon), grapefruit (Citrus x paradisi), lime (Citrus x aurantifolia) and coriander (Coriandrum sativum).
It shares its presentation with the other Puerto de Indias gin varieties. It is a glass bottle made up of twelve faces and embossed inscriptions inspired by the symbolic Torre del Oro, a representative icon of Seville, which directly references the emblematic Puerto de Indias, one of the main ports for merchandise exchange between Spain and the New World, from which the brand takes its name.
TASTING
Appearance: Full-bodied character and a transparent, crystalline appearance.
Nose: Slightly aniseed aroma from the stills where the Gin is produced.
Palate: Traditional flavor for the most classic palates, marked by an intense juniper taste and aroma with soft citrus notes.
