PREPARATION
Old Parr 12 Years is the culmination of all the effort and experience of the master blender, expertly bringing together the best single malt whiskeys. More than forty whiskeys are used, but the key role is assigned to Cragganmore. The birthplace of this brand, in fact, was the Cragganmore distillery, founded on the River Spey in 1869. Its ingredients are characterized by their purity and high quality. Old Parr is named after the legendary figure of Thomas Parr, who is said to be the oldest man in England, aged 152 when he died in 1635. His long life symbolized the maturity of the whiskeys used in the blend, while his wisdom represented the skill and knowledge required to produce it.
TASTING
View: Golden color.
Nose: The nose is clean, light and fresh, with a touch of green leaves and flowers, and notes of oak and freshly turned earth.
Mouth: In the mouth, flavor of ripe fruit, peaches and raspberries. It has a clean and smooth finish.
