Description
PREPARATION
Moskovskaya is one of the first Russian brands of vodka, created in 1894 by the Russian state, its formula is part of the National Treasure of Russia and its production was interrupted after the prohibition imposed at the beginning of the First World War. It is made using a classic Russian production method, using very traditional ingredients. Initially, the best wheat grains are selected to give it that great character that identifies it, they are mixed with purified artesian well water and allowed to ferment at a constant rate for three days. The mixture is then subjected to triple distillation to obtain a strong drink with unparalleled purity. Once this process is finished, following Russian standards, an exact amount of purified water is carefully added to filter the drink in three stages: first quartz sand is used, then activated carbon and finally it is filtered again with quartz sand.
TASTING
View: Transparent, clean and bright.
Nose: Clean aroma, with hints of mint oil, pepper and essential oils.
Mouth: Balanced, warm and fresh at the same time, with memories of brioche (the grain) and a slightly spicy finish.
