PRODUCTION

Lola y Vera gin is crafted from the finest grain alcohol, which serves as the base for macerating the natural botanicals used in a genuine recipe featuring a predominance of green apple, juniper, and citrus notes. This is achieved through a combination of two distillation processes. First, dried botanicals such as juniper, spices, and roots are distilled to obtain a classic gin base. This base is then combined with a second distillation of the macerated green apple and lime. The gin is further flavored through maceration and steam infusion. Once the two distillates are combined in the correct proportions, the product rests for a week before being diluted to reduce its alcohol content.

Lola y Vera Gin is produced at Destilería Urbana (Madrid) and owes its name to the copper stills with vaporization column and fractionation column, in which the liquors of this famous artisanal distillery are born.

TASTING

Appearance: Transparent and clean.

Nose: Fresh green apple scent.

On the palate: It surprises with its tart green apple flavor, without masking the notes of juniper and coriander. It has a medium finish, with subtle hints of licorice, making it ideal to enjoy very cold, neat or with a tonic that isn't overly fizzy or flavorful, allowing it to be clear and unobtrusive.
