PREPARATION
The name of the liquor Pisang Ambon pays homage to its Indonesian roots: "Pisang" means banana in Malay/Indonesian, while "Ambon" is the name of a small island near Bali, which centuries ago was a Dutch colony. Bols Pisang Ambon was first introduced more than 60 years ago and is based on the recipe of an ancient Indonesian liquor, which is complemented by a mixture of herbs and made with green bananas that give it a less sweet flavor.
TASTING
View: Bright green tone.
Nose: Aroma of freshly peeled ripe tropical banana with notes of caramel and a little vanilla.
Mouth: Creamy palate. It has a dominant banana flavor with additional nuances of tropical fruits (especially dried coconut and guava). Long and fruity aftertaste.
