PREPARATION
Typical of Marseille, and all of Occitania, Pastis is the appetizer par excellence in France. It is made from licorice, star anise and select alcohols.
TASTING
View: Dark amber color, with a milky appearance after the addition of water.
Nose: The key of anise is complemented by notes of cardamom, oregano and violet.
Mouth: Tasty, earthy, with a slightly bitter and refreshing finish. A classic expression of a Marseille pastis.
