PREPARATION
Pastis 51 anise liqueur is made by maceration, not distillation, of Chinese star anise, Provençal aromatic plants, fennel, oriental licorice and African kola nut to offer a light and refreshing Mediterranean flavor. Its history dates back to 1951 when the ban on anise-based snacks was lifted.
