Description
PREPARATION
The Sweet Herb Liqueur of Mallorca is made with distilled anise and macerations of herbs such as rosemary, fennel, chamomile, peppermint, lemon balm, lemon verbena, lemon leaf and orange tree. This traditional liquor has its origins in the medicinal concoctions that apothecaries prepared in the 16th century to combat epidemics. Its preparation is based on a long process of maceration of aromatic plants (typical of the island) in anise.
