PREPARATION

Get 27 is made up of 7 varieties of mint from all over the world, which are distilled and transformed into essential oils to carefully preserve all their taste power and mixed with sugar, water and alcohol. The mixture is allowed to rest and the solution is then filtered through a cellulose plate to give the liquor its notable shine.
Get 27 was born in Revel, a charming village in Haute-Garonne, in 1796 when Jean Get, mayor of Revel, married the daughter of the preparer of "La Bonbonnière", one of the largest distilleries of the 18th century, and inherited the secret of a legendary recipe: creme de menthe! Together with his younger brother Pierre, he launched the "Get brothers' Pipemint" on the market, the old version of the GET 27. Today it is produced in Beaucaire in the Gard, an emerald green oasis under the southern sun.
