PREPARATION
Cointreau flourished during the French golden age, the Belle Époque, and has continued to innovate ever since. From the entrepreneurial talent of a distiller-liqueurist who created the House in 1849, until 1885, when after several years of relentless research and experimentation, Édouard Cointreau managed to create a completely balanced and crystalline liqueur three times more concentrated in flavor and less sweet than the liqueurs of the time, the result of a precise mixture of fresh and dehydrated peels of sweet and bitter oranges.
TASTING

Nose: Complex mixture of orange peel essences. Acid, fresh, floral and sweet, with a spectrum of more than 40 aromatic notes.
