PREPARATION
Grapes: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier.
Krug Rosé is made through traditional winemaking according to the traditional Champenoise method. The Krug Rosé assemblage includes a percentage of Pinot Noir vinified in red, as well as still reserve wines, as is usual in this house. It is an unexpected rosé Champagne that combines distinction and audacity, inspired by the dream of the fifth generation of the Maison Krug to conceive a rosé Champagne that did not yet exist. Their vision was that every year a new Edition of Krug Rosé could be created. Each Edition of Krug Rosé is a unique and expressive blend of wines from different plots of a variety of years that together reveal contrast, texture, structure and flavors thanks to which this Champagne will wonderfully accompany a wide variety of cuisines.
TASTING
View: Nice coppery pink color. Presence of fine bubbles. Seductive.
Nose: Fragrant. Notes of red berries stand out at the beginning, giving way to more spicy and pastry aromas.
Mouth: Dry entry, it has strength and forcefulness. Floral memories at the beginning, rose petal, red fruit, quince, spices and even toasted coffee peels towards the end. Very elegant and long. Delicious.
Recommended temperature: 9-12ºC.
