Description
PREPARATION
Kavalan Solist Vinho Barrique is completely matured in used and previously burned American oak and wine barrels, so that it highlights the fruity vanilla notes of the wood in the whiskey overlaid on a delicate background of complex fruit. Since 2005, Kavalan Distillery has pioneered the art of single malt whiskey in Yilan County, Taiwan. Kavalan sources the mineral-rich snowmelt waters of Snow Mountain and is aged in a unique combination of intense heat and humidity along with sea and mountain breezes. They combine all of this to create the quality, smoothness and fruity character that Kavalan is known for.
TASTING
View:
Intense gold color.
Nose:
It is characterized by a fusion of vanilla and caramelized sugars with dark chocolate on top, which generates an explosion of aromatic essences.
Mouth:
Flavor of ripe melon and mango along with kiwi and a delicate blend of bursting citrus fruits. Long aftertaste.
