However, Kavalan Fino, matured in the best Fino Jerez casks, provides a smooth sweetness that excites the palate. PREPARATION
Kavalan Solist Fino Sherry Single Cask Strength has matured in the best Sherry Fino barrels, which provide a smooth sweetness that excites the palate. Since 2005, Kavalan Distillery has pioneered the art of single malt whiskey in Yilan County, Taiwan. Kavalan sources the mineral-rich snowmelt waters of Snow Mountain and is aged in a unique combination of intense heat and humidity along with sea and mountain breezes. They combine all of this to create the quality, smoothness and fruity character that Kavalan is known for.
TASTING
View:
Dark golden amber color.
Nose:
Rich aroma of sherry.
Mouth:
The rich aroma of sherry, with its creamy toffee and rich fudge qualities and the slightest hint of chocolate, blends with the fruity character of the spirit. The natural sweetness on the tongue is accentuated by a smooth chocolate flavor. Complex fruit flavors are layered with a dry smoky wood aroma, ending with a long, rounded finish.
