PREPARATION
Kavalan Oloroso Sherry Oak dilutes the Solist Oloroso Sherry with Kavalan spring water at 46% alcohol level. A whiskey that is originally from Taiwan, which is distilled at the King Car distillery, which is located in Yilan county. Since 2005, Kavalan Distillery has pioneered the art of single malt whiskey in Yilan County, Taiwan. Kavalan sources the mineral-rich snowmelt waters of Snow Mountain and is aged in a unique combination of intense heat and humidity along with sea and mountain breezes. They combine all of this to create the quality, smoothness and fruity character that Kavalan is known for.
TASTING
View:
Dark gold color.
Nose:
Complex and pure, where aromas of dried fruits, spices and notes of vanilla and apple stand out.
Mouth:
Smooth and well-balanced natural sweetness, full of pleasant nuts and spices. Elegant and long finish.
