PREPARATION
Jim Beam Red Stag is an exquisite and wild combination of cherry liqueur and Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. This traditional Kentucky bourbon is made from a mixture of corn, rye and malted barley, mixed with water and selected yeasts for the fermentation process. It is then subjected to double distillation in column stills to obtain a much softer liquor. The maturation takes place in charred American white oak barrels for a period of four years. Finally, the natural black cherry flavors are incorporated into the whiskey through an infusion process.
TASTING
View: Amber color with orange nuances.
Nose: Sweet aromas of ripe cherries intertwined with delicate notes of vanilla and a touch of oak.
Mouth: Initially it is sweet and unctuous thanks to the ripe cherries, which are balanced by the warmth of the alcohol when it hits the palate. Spicy and warm finish, with hints of vanilla and cinnamon.
