Description
PREPARATION
Blended Irish Whiskey, triple distilled and patiently finished in casks seasoned with Irish craft beer. They have been used to age stout from Cork's Franciscan Well brewery. This has added notes of cocoa, coffee and caramel to this classic Irish whiskey.
TASTING
View: Pale gold color.
Nose: Initial aroma of freshly cut hay that is complemented by a crisp character of orchard fruit: apples and green pears, with a touch of lime zest. Soft still spices appear, ranging from green tea to hazelnuts and milk chocolate.
Mouth:
The sweet initial layer in the mouth typical of the inclusion of the Irish still is complemented by the subtle touch of hops and cocoa beans from the finish of the beer cask.
