Islay Mist The Original Peated 70cl.
Islay Mist Original was created in 1922 on the Scottish island of Islay to celebrate Lord Margadale's 21st birthday. It was thought that the local single malt Scotch whisky, Laphroaig, might be too heavy for the palates of some of the guests. From this was born Laphroaig's unique blend of Speyside malts and grain whiskey. Each bottle proudly bears the exclusive Great Seal of Islay.

Description
PREPARATION
It is a blended whiskey with a considerable contribution of Laphroaig, a powerful presence of peat and a clear influence of the characteristics of Islay. A characteristic of this distillery is that even today they carry out the malting process themselves for 20% of their needs; They soak the barley, germinate it and dry it. Laphroaig's sweet notes come from the exclusive use of barrels that previously held Maker's Mark bourbon whiskey.
