Highland Park 10 Year Old Viking Scars whiskey is predominantly matured in oak barrels seasoned with European and American sherry. This award-winning whiskey has been made at the Highland Park distillery in Kirkwall, Orkney, since 1798. Age, experience and respect for tradition may define the distillery's whisky, but it is Orkney that sets it apart. Something magical happens here and the result is the wild harmony of flavors found in whiskey.
TASTING
View:
Luminous and golden.
Nose:
There are hints of heather honey in its aromatic peat smoke and just a trace of spicy spice.
Mouth:
Smooth and vibrant, full of flavors of citrus, vanilla and spicy spices.
