PREPARATION
Hellyers Road Peated whiskey is made with Tasmanian barley, aged in American oak (ex-bourbon) and distilled with peated grain from Inverness, Scotland. In this way you obtain a sweet, fruity and smoky drink. This peated Single Malt has a distinctive style of its own. In more moderation, this expression represents the best of New World peated whiskey interpretations. Hellyers Road Distillery is located in Burnie, northern Tasmania. It was founded in the late 1990s with a passion for whiskey shared by the owner of a dairy cooperative (Betta Milk), a group of dairy farmers and a professional distiller. They produce a variety of highly recognized and unique award-winning peated whiskey styles worldwide. It has become the best-selling Australian whiskey.
