PREPARATION
Hellyers Road 15Years Old Slightly Peated Whiskey is the perfect combination of Hellyers Road Original Single Malt with a hint of peated single malt liquor. Aged in ex-bourbon barrels. This whiskey is not chill filtered or artificial coloring added. Hellyers Road Distillery is located in Burnie, northern Tasmania. It was founded in the late 1990s with a passion for whiskey shared by the owner of a dairy cooperative (Betta Milk), a group of dairy farmers and a professional distiller. They produce a variety of highly recognized and unique award-winning peated whiskey styles worldwide.
TASTING
View:
Amber color.
Nose:
Aromas of lemon and orange zest, soft peat smoke and pepper fill the nose.
Mouth:
Notes of ginger, vanilla, soft smoke, black pepper, lemon and orange that linger in the finish.
