Description
PREPARATION
Hakushu Distiller's Reserve Whiskey is made with uncommonly smooth water and matured in a lush forest microclimate. Hakushu groundwater is clear, has a mild flavor and contains, thanks to the filtration of rain and snow through ancient granite rocks, a wonderful amount of minerals. During fermentation, artisans use only wooden containers to stimulate maturation by retaining heat in the cool environment of the distillery. The variety of stills and casks used are carefully chosen to adapt to the high altitude and climate of Hakushu and ultimately produce a variety of single malt whiskeys with different personalities that reflect their environment.
Created from the dream of the second master blender, Keizo Saji, whose goal was to create a new type of whiskey with a unique and distinctive flavor.
TASTING

Light gold color.
Nose:
Intense aromas of mint, melon and cucumber.
Mouth:
Notes of yuzu, grapefruit and lemon thyme with a refreshing and subtly smoky finish.
