PREPARATION
Glenmorangie Original 10 Years Whiskey is the result of mixing a delicate distillate, it is distilled twice in the highest stills in Scotland, then aged for 10 years in bourdon barrels and in this way absorbs all kinds of delicious flavors.
Glenmorangie has been making single malt whiskey since 1843, when farmer William Matheson and his wife Anne followed their dreams and founded their distillery. Its water is unusually rich in minerals, to help make the whiskey taste so wonderfully fruity. To keep this water pure, they own and protect the entire forest surrounding its source, the Tarlogie Spring. And they use the best barrels to age their spirit, sourced from all over, often even customized to your specifications to create a distinctive flavor profile.
TASTING
View: Bright pale gold color.
Nose: Citrus and ripe peaches are balanced by the softness of vanilla.
Mouth: Balanced, with flavors of vanilla, honey and nuts. Clean aftertaste with hints of orange and peach.
