Glenmorangie Milsean is a limited edition single malt from Glenmorangie's Private Edition collection. Milsean, which in Gaelic means “sweet”, has sweet notes due to its extra maturation in highly toasted wine barrels. Dr Bill Lumsden, Director of Distillation and Creation of Glenmorangie Whiskey, adds: “A glass of Glenmorangie Milsean transports me straight to an old sweet shop, with its sweet and spicy side of notes of sugar cane, ripe fruits and caramel.” Presentation: Bottle with case.

PREPARATION
The Glenmorangie Milsean whiskey has been aged in American oak bourbon barrels and then matured in highly toasted red wine barrels, as this enhances the sweeter notes of the whiskey.
Glenmorangie has been making single malt whiskey since 1843, when farmer William Matheson and his wife Anne followed their dreams and founded their distillery. Its water is unusually rich in minerals, to help make the whiskey taste so wonderfully fruity. To keep this water pure, they own and protect the entire forest surrounding its source, the Tarlogie Spring. And they use the best barrels to age their spirit, sourced from all over, often even customized to your specifications to create a distinctive flavor profile.
TASTING

Nose:
Sweet and spicy, with notes of sugar cane, ripe fruits, lemons and fudge.
Mouth:
Sweet, caramel flavored with fruit notes such as plum, candied orange peel and cherries.
