Glenfiddich is one of the most famous distilleries in the world. The distillery is located on the outskirts of the town of Dufftown in the Speyside region. The name is taken from the valley of Glen Fiddich and in Gaelic means "valley of the deer". Prizes and scores:

Description
PREPARATION
Glenfiddich Malt Master's Edition malt whiskey has been aged in ex-Bourbon barrels for a period of between 6 and 8 years and subsequently in Sherry barrels for finishing, for a fairly long period of time, between 4 and 6 years. The water needed for production is taken from the Robbie Dhu streams, which flow into the Fiddich River.
TASTING
View: Golden amber color.
Nose: Notes of sweet vanilla, oak wood, sherry, orange peel and brown sugar; toffee caramel and sweet caramel apple flavors.
Mouth: Light sherry tones, with notes of ginger and hard nougat. Candied cherries, fruitcake, with some notes of caramel and banana in the finish. Medium long finish with final notes of oak wood that fade.
