PREPARATION
The whiskey Glenfarclas The Family Casks 1988 has been aged for 30 years in Sherry barrels. It was distilled in 1988 and was bottled in 2017, as this whiskey is bottled when it has reached the correct maturation.
TASTING
View: Dark gold color.
Nose:
Quite earthy, with notes of orris root, burlap and warehouse dunnage.
Mouth: The barrel is not exaggerating its presence. Finish with notes of espresso.
