The award-winning single malt whiskey Glencadam 15 years is a fine example of centuries of craftsmanship and tradition. A truly sensual and delicious flavor. It has obtained 90.5 points in the Whiskey Bible of the famous whiskey critic, Jim Murray's. The shape of the Glencadam stills plays an important role in distillation, giving a special final character to the “new make spirit”, the precious liquid resulting from the last distillation process. An unusual feature in the sector is Glencadam's line of pipes, which run upwards at a 15 degree angle, rather than downwards. This helps to produce a particularly delicate and smooth “spirit”. The Glencadam distillery operates at full capacity with its two stills producing around 1.4 million liters and is equipped with eleven warehouses for its barrels.
