The Glencadam distillery opened its doors in 1825 and little has changed since then. A very special collection of casks was chosen for the Origin 1825 edition. The final selection consisted of a unique combination of whiskey matured in top-class American white oak bourbon casks with whiskey finished in the finest Spanish Oloroso sherry butts.

Description
PREPARATION
This is the distillery's first whiskey that they have made without publishing the age. For this 1825 edition, a very special series of barrels have been chosen. The final selection is initially made up of American white oak barrels and barrels with Bourbon passage, finishing in barrels where Oloroso Jerezano has been made.
TASTING
View: Warm golden color.
Nose:
It is creamy, with notes of malted barley, floral and with hints of vanilla.
Mouth:
You can find banana, pineapple, pears and caramels, all fused with a delicious blend of mild spices.
