Description
PREPARATION
Grapes: 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon.
The Fortin Plaisance 2018 red wine is made using traditional winemaking and is aged for 6 months in oak barrels.
The history of Saint-Émilion is ancient in the Bordeaux landscape and its vineyard traces its legend back to Roman civilization. The history of its terroir allows us to obtain exceptional wines. Bacchus, god of wine and the vine, would have been blessed there. It places and rests its benevolent eye on the oak barrels of this Fortin Plaisance cuvée to give it its multiple tannins, its intense aromas and its balance worthy of its name.
TASTING

Nose:
Notes of old leather, quince, black cherry and toast.

A silky initial flavor blooms on the palate in a full-bodied wine with a beautiful balance between fruit and wood. A warm and aromatic finish leaves the palate with pleasant toasted flavors.
