Description
PREPARATION
The Excellency Club Cognac Cask Finish whiskey is made with a blend of malt from two single malts aged in Bourbon barrels, which is subsequently matured for several months in the cellars of Les Brûleries Modernes, in second-filling Delpech-Fougerat Cognac barrels.
At Les Brûleries Modernes they aim to work in the traditional and proper way, while trying to think outside the box and bring their personal touch to the spirits they produce. The creation of this whiskey was inspired by a legend that tells that a gentlemen's club on the other side of the Channel had a gorilla as a mascot, to symbolize the nonconformity of its members.
TASTING

Nose: Complex and powerful aromas of malts and typical cognac notes: honey, white flowers and quince.
Mouth: Beautiful balance of spices and fruits that lasts.
